Shamu Stadium At Sea World San Diego

Sea World’s Shamu Stadium.

SeaWorld is almost synonymous with Shamu, the killer whale. Actually Shamu was an orca whale, and although that was the name of the first whale brought to Sea World in the 1960s, Shamu’s legacy lives on. Today, several orcas perform and live in the 7 million gallon tank at Shamu Stadium. The seven orcas who live at San Diego SeaWorld are named Ulises, Kasatka, Sumar, Corky, Kalia, Orkid and Nakai.
